its not your springs...its the KYBs, they aren't made to support extremely low drops for a long period of time....I learned this as well my front KYBs are getting mushy on me and I've had them on for a year and about 30k miles! go for some Tokico shocks!

Blakzima, your profile says VG30DE; I assume you meant VE30DE (stock engine for 92-94SE) right? Or did you actually do an engine swap?

hmmm...how fatigued? what are the symptoms, usually your springs will last forever and intrax should be pretty harsh and stiff. It is most likely your struts, KYB's are not the best from what I hear, you should try getting some tockicos you can get them for $285 right now. I hope mine dont wear, I am just about to put on my intrax with KYB.

Damn you! now you have me thinking about spending the extra $100+ for some Tock's might as well do it right I guess, since the $180 will already be out there...what do you think? how bad is the ride on "fatigued" springs?

blakzima - most likely it's yor struts... springs don't fatigue very easily especially performance ones and after a year

from the search that i've done, toks are the ones that go soft after a year with lowering springs. if you do a search, you will find that a lot of people say toks are *ss with lowering springs.

oh yeah, 92-94 SE has the VE engine.

man it okay right now, but I know its gonna be like riding on jello soon...its only the front struts though, the rears seem fine! I might just do Toks up front and keep the KYB rears. if I'm feeling froggy I might go Koni up front but I doubt it!

and Blaxima you 92-94 SE was a VE!

Are you trying to say when the struts go bad, your car is getting lower? I thought the struts dont carry the height, the springs do. How is that possibile? ALSO I have the arospeed springs, and I debated for along time about KYB or Tok's. I went with KYB because the Toks seem to have a quaility problem with this big of a drop. Thats what I did!

I have intrax on stock struts. And i like it still handels great and the ride is not to to bad. But i will say they are getting squisy when i hit speed bumps. but i can deal with that. i love the look of the intrax and the drive. just wanted to throw my 0.02 in. jon

It's very hard for springs to 'fatigue'. Springs are for the most part a lifetime part. They'd have to be like 30 years old with hundreds of thousands of miles on them to be messed up like that.

Most problems people have are with worn-out/blown shocks. Wasted shocks will surely make a car sag. Why do you think you see the 70's and 80's 'Lac's with the back scrapin the ground all the time? Bad shocks.

Intrax spring here goin on 3 years. Still good as new.

93MaxVG, I think you got your brands mixed up man. Tok's is the brand of choice so to speak (behind the oh too expensive Koni, obviously). KYB is considered 'next best'.
