im planning to get either Intrax or Sprint springs (unless i buy some used Eibachs). anyone have these with stock shocks? how have they been? i talked to a local tuner shop and one of the guys i talked to had a maxima himself. he said he had Intrax but after 3 months. the rear started sagging. then it kept sagging and sagging. he said that the rears eventuall went down 3 inches then he swithed to H&R's. does this just happen to be a bad pair for some reason or all all Intrax's like this? and if you have a pic, can you post it, thanks!

My experience with Intrax was for one week, i put them on the car and liked the drop, but i put two cases of pepsi in the trunk and the rear sagged like 1/2" to 1" and i'm like i gotta get rid of it, to my knowledge the sprints would be better but more drop so it would be stiffer

Intrax

I had intrax before for 5 months. The ride sucks! Don't get them. I had them with stock shocks then with tokicos. I have no experience with Sprint. But I have heard pretty good things about them.

Godd luck

Don't get Intrax! They suck ***. I got them and they're horrible. If I had the money to get new springs, I'll get rid of the Intrax in a heartbeat. Go with Sprint.

I had them for 1.5 years. Never had a problem. No sagging, the rears were a bit soft, but not that big of a deal. Sometimes the back looked lower than the front, but that was because of my sub box. I swapped them out for Ground Control's about 4 months ago, but that was just so I could slam my car.

maybe yours are special. do you still have them and do you wanna sell em? as you described, i think they might be fine for me. i dont haul people around and i dont have a system. still luring towards sprint though.

Its funny you ask, but he sold them to me like 4 months ago, and I have them on now with KYB GR2's. Maybe his (mine) were special because I'm not having a problem with them. People say that the ride is terrible, maybe its because some people just aren't even used to the conversion from stock to lowered. I did have them up for sale in the Parts forum, but I pretty much changed my mine. At the time, I just wanted to try out other springs like H&R's, but didn't have the money. In other words, I like Intrax, maybe because I don't carry heavy loads either, and I'm not too picky about the ride, but I do like the drop compared to Eibachs.

Please do not

...get the intrax. I chose them over the Eibachs before because they had that extra 1/4" drop (1.76 vs. 1.5) and I have regretted it ever since. Not to say they are absolutely horrible but my experience matches most others. The ride is not an issue, it was fine and I think is softer than the Eibachs would have been - most people say the Eibachs are kind of harsh. But yes, the back does sag - not terribly but you can definetly see a difference. And another thing I really hate about the front springs is that 3 of the bottom coils are always touching, which is something I have never seen on performance springs. Now the bottom of both my front springs are all jacked up and rusted from all the abrasion. The good thing is my stocks shocks are still good after two years of riding on them, but I'm definetly getting rid of them as soon as I come into some money. Maybe its because I didn't get better shocks with them - Shadow: did you use them with different shocks?

Be like me, get ST's & cut em. Ride is better than intrax. A lil worse than eibach. But I'm reaching over a 3" drop.

I have In-Trax springs with my stock struts/shocks. The car sits pretty low. Not so low that you will scrap everywhere. I have yet to bottom out. The ride is a bit bumpy. The rear of my car does look lower but if you measure, the rear wheel cut-out is cut lower then the front. Mine appears to be lower in the back but the car is still level. If yo have a big stereo, that makes any rear end sag. Look in my sig, that is what my car looks like with the in-trax.

Solution to low rear... get Konis and have the rear setting on the upper perch...

I just wanted the wheel gap to be more even... I've had mine for over two years and it hasn't sagged... Besides I wanted to keep a softer ride... My Eibachs are happy in my garage...
