My Maxima

Hi! I'm Allison and my boyfriend Jamie has been chatting with some of you because he is trying to get my poor Maxima back in tip top shape for me. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who have helped us in trying to figure out exactly whats going on with my car, it has been having problems for a while but Jamie is doing an excellent job fixing it up, the results so far have been nothing short of incredible as far as I'm concerned. I LOVE my Maxima but I am cluless when it comes to these things so I really appreciate all of your help in this matter.
Thanks,
Allison

You guys are hilarious! Allison is awesome! She is learning about her Max, she loves her Maxima and we are gonna fix it so she can enjoy it again. Allison has never been on a board like this before, I am new to the Maxima board, thanks for the warm welcome. I frequent the Ford boards over at www.explorer4x4.com, www.offroadrangers.com, etc....

Hey where's the best place to get some clear corners for the front of a 92 SE? One of her side markers are toasted and I was thinking, why not go aftermarket?

Thanks!

I got mine from Ebay for about $25.00. So far they haven't separated, and the trim was even prepainted black. I've had them on for 2+ years.

I think you can get them from custom maxima or southwest autoworks....

By the way, welcome.

Another good parts place

is Courtesy Nissan. http://www.courtesyparts.com If you call, and you're a member of the .org, they used to do a discount, too, but I don't know for sure that they do any more. Can't hurt to ask, though, since they have a 1-800 number...

Dude, how do you make the background in your sig fade out like that? I've been wanting to try that.

Maxima93GXE - I used Photoshop to outline my car, then created another layer from copy (but left it where it was), reselected the original "Background" layer, applied a Motion Blur filter (you choose the direction and amount, but I went with 100 or so), and presto! Of course, that's the newbie way to do it, and there are people on here who are much much muchmuchmuchmuch better than I am at Photoshop who will be able to correct my method.

Good luck!

But 7.0 is out. Got $399 to spend? Otherwise, borrow from school computer lab...
