SE cluster vs GXE cluster

SE cluster vs GXE cluster
I just recently swapped out my GXE instrument cluster for a much nicer SE cluster (with the white faced gauges).
After the car sits in idle for 10-15 min. I did notice the water temp needle rise to the top unlike on my GXE cluster (it stays pretty much at the middle of the gauge). The car was not running hot, but the readings were.
Is there a different sensor I need to swap out to be compatible with my new SE cluster?
The only other difference I did notice was the variance in the redline on the tach. The SE redline is at 5500. I think my GXE cluster redline was at 6000

you need to make sure you buy 1989-1991 SE gauges, you may have bought the ones from a 1992-1994 SE, however those gauges have a 145mph max and redline at 6500ish (maybe only 6000 though, however the gxe gauges will always be max. 5500. maybe the ve was redlined at 6000, its been so long, i cant remember, but I do know my VQ hits the rev limiter alot faster, had to change my shifting style.)
when i put carbon fiber on my gauges, i had unlocked the magical ability to not put miles on the car
