How and where do you adjust the timing?

Where on the engine would I adjust the timing on my 93 GXE

the ghetto way......

look at left of engine (standing in front of car).
see big Circular shaped device with wires coming out.
take off cap.
do not touch cap or device bare handed.
look lower in front of device.
loosen bolt.
turn device clockwise (left to right)
only move about 1/4" at a time.
tighten bolt.
go test drive.
if car hesitates, you have moved the device
to far.
readjust accordinly.
have fun.

Non gettho way--Buy/borrow a timing light and get a Haynes manual and follow the instructions in there. If u use the search feature u can find a thread where its explained in detail though(i know..i did it once )

Ghetto.....

Is good. Just not all edumacated.
Good shade tree mech. can tune by ear.
