The driver's side door lock will not unlock unless it is done by hand. If you do it from the inside, or if you unlock from outside, the lock only comes half way up and doesn't unlock all of the way. If anybody knows what the problem is and how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.

by the way, 1993 GXE if that makes a difference or not.

I've had similar problems and fixed it by spraying in WD40 there is a point where it dies and I believe there is a known fix for it if you search

 

I had a similar problem on my 90...I believe its the door lock actuator...see if you find anything when you search on that...I would help you more but I never got mine fixed....
