Rear door handles on the front?

Hello, I have a question on the exterior door handles on the 4th gen. Will the rear door handles bolt-in with no modifications into the fronts?

I want to remove the door lock cylinder on the passenger side.

I tend to think they will, but why don't you measure them?

I think they are different. The key hole makes me think the fronts are different

They will physically fit but only one of the mounting studs line up. So you can either mount it with the one or fab up a bracket. I used just the one and it was never an issue.

Good to know.
My front passenger door is a junkyard door. I never got around to transferring the lock cylinder over from the old door prior to getting rid of it. so my passenger door uses a different key to open that I do not have. I might pull a door handle from a back door to get rid of the key hole that doesn't work.

I might be the only one, but I think it would look pretty cool to replace both front handles with rear ones. It would look cleaner with no key holes. Only issue would be if the keyless entry doesn't work, or the battery dies. Then you look like a bad parent for shoving your 5 year old through the pass thru hole in the truck to hit the lock switch.

This is a common swap on Hondas, to use the rear door handles on the front. In essence, a cheap shave for the key lock cylinders.

If it was a pure bolt-in, I plan on doing just the front passenger for now, and may think of doing it with the front driver too.
