swap

have a local guy wth 86 300zx turbo,i have 90 se 5 spd,can this motor be swapped into my car.how hard of a swap is it i think he had some electrical problems so dont know what kind of shape wiring harnesses in.car has 130k on drivetrain and he wants 650.00.body and interior are shot.can i use my tranny or do i need the one from the motor.that one has bad syncros and needs a clutch.gonna try and get it fr 500.00 most likely will accpt it,any feed back would be appreciated

this swap is impossible!!!! you need to use the O-pipe from a Pathfinder and all this other crap...its not worth it! plus you have to fit the RWD drive train transversely and it'll stick out about 5 ft. past the fender...

becareful talking about that stuff around here. you'll get mega-flamed and told to search.

it will fit, but with some modifying. the tranny won't fit because it's rwd and your car is fwd. that's around what you'll find one of those engines for. it's an ok deal. especially if you can get the whole wiring harness and ecu out of it.
