I was wondering what the value of my car might be. It's a 1992 SE 5-speed. Pearl white with tan leather, sunroof, Bose and ABS. I believe that's all options less automatic transmission. I have a brand new set of 2001 Maxima SE wheels with new Yokohama tires. Clutch has been replaced as well. It is in excellent shape with 110k miles.
Car has always been garaged and adult driven in rural northern Illinois (no big city miles). Other than wheels the car is completely stock. I'm in sales, so most of the miles are highway cruising.
My dillema is that I can take a company car or keep a $600/month allowance plus fuel. It's not worth selling the car if it's only worth $3,000 as it will pay for itself every 5 months (factoring out any repairs, insurance etc.). It runs perfect, looks good and I'm sure I can easily get a few more years out of it at 40k miles/year.
I'd be interested in selling at around $4,500 but don't know if that's reasonable. Thanks for your help.

 

$4,500 is a nice price if it's in the condition you say it's in.

If you're getting an extra $600 plus gas money just for using your own car (thats running great) i'd say keep your car and collect the $600, that's a good chunk of change.

 

where are located exactly? im in around chicago too. my max is for sale also. i have a pearl white max too except no leather. i was actually considering buying another max if i could find one in excellent condition. my car is in good to very good condition i feel. maybe we can meet up so i can take a look at yours. im on the southwest side, in oak lawn.
