heres the theory behind what i did. like the way it looks or not doesnt affect me i did it to please me, not you. my right side light had a crack and my friend had ripped off the trunk filler to shave the trunk before i bought it. since i needed a taillight and i didnt like the way that shaving the trunk leaves a flat line for the trunk edge on a rounded car , i started looking into similar style lights. the lexus lights are slightly higher, but rounded on the sides, and now i have a nice curved trunk, as opposed to a box. i wouldnt have done this if it wasnt for the fact that i got both the lights from a friend for 150 new, with harnesses(he had bought them for his car and didnt like them)i love the way that the stock back looks, but im into custom cars, so stock wont cut it. its diferent and thats all that matters, flame if you want, like i told the kid that bought the "one of a kind" max with the neon wiring problems, it doesnt matter what ppl say as long as they are talking about u.
P.S. IM

It's like you said, dude... it's all about pleasing YOU, not us. I personally think it's rather interesting. I wouldn't have the "cajones" to do that, so I commend you!

paint will go on the car in the spring.im order, wheels, tires, possible stillen kit, redo suspension(i have 2 inches lower to go before i hit floor pan!), paint, interior. im probably going to make a mold of my rear bumper and mold it out of glass for ease of repairs and consistency, thats going to be the hardest thing. ill probably go with acura silver(slight blue tint), but im not sure. thanks for the comments!

I really like what you did to the reat. Did your friend do this or did a body shop do it?? I would like to do something similar but with R34 tail lights. Let me know who did your work and around how much did it cost??

I suppose you just use the hydros to raise and lower the car, no "bouncing" right?? don't think the Max's chasis could handle tha!?.

no hopping with the car,it would need springs to do that, and it actually has no springs whatsoever. plus with one pump im slow as hell. it can 3 wheels though, but in the back. i did all the work myself, expect to pay a shop from 2-3k for the rear conversion, they would have to rework both 1/4 panels and extend the trunk. it an be very labor intensive. you may get it done cheaper, but unless you knowthe person it may just be a hack job.(sometimes when you kmow the person its a hack job too)
