It looks like a pretty cool car. Lately, I have seen some nice looking 3rd Gens on the net. Every once in a while, you just see them everywhere, and other times, you can't find 'em anywhere.

Why dont you guys pick a track at a half way mark. Maybe we can get a bunch of third gens to go. I know I'd be down, too bad though most tracks are closed currently.

funny thing is, is this race probably will happen come spring b/c I'd easily end up in NC/ATL for one of the NC meets anyway especially if I get the mods i'm working to get done finished. In all seriousness though this is all in good fun between us right Jon

Yeah Chris this is all in fun and games. We 3rd gen guys must stick together and you VE guys need to quit hating on the VG guys, like i said we are a 3rd GEN family not a VG and a VE family. But Chris it looks like we could sale some tickets to see us race. It would be really really cool if we could get a 3rd gen drag race meeting up sometime in the future i would be willing to drive some distance for that. So since you are now a moderator why dont you do something about that and see what you can come up with???
But you will lose!!! Why dont you get that bottle put in and we will really see what that thing will do. (You are going to need a 13sec car to keep up ) Later Jon

BETTER STOCK PICKUP!!!???? WHAT? This is fact coming from a guy that has driven a couple of VG Autos and my stock VE Auto. The VG will definitely own the VE from 0-20 mph. Anything after 30 mph for a VG Auto is just like you put the dang car in neutral... it makes all this noise, but doesn't go anywhere.

The VE auto on the other hand, starts ALL of it's power after 20 mph and continues to make ALL that power all the way to redline.

So, if you mean "better stock pickup" by saying it launches harder... then you are dead right. But, the VE will pull like crazy anything after 20 mph.

Who wants to race me BTW? I want in on the action.

We've got a lot of people interested, We should set up an East coast drag strip meet the beginning of next summer. I'm willing to drive a few hours for this!!

If we set it for spring (or late spring), it will give people time to do some modding.

Now, should we make it a third gen meet, or leave it open to all max's.

Aaron, I could not agree with you more on your coment. The VG will actually burn some tire off the line, unlike the VE. But after that all it has is hesitation and noise. By this time the VE is still boosting hard!! But I have a VG so Gotta go with what I got!! My bro got a VE! Love it like my own!

Don't ask me, it could just be the 4 maxes I know, but that seems to be the trend VG's from 0-25 are good. After the VE's take over!!
