Digital Dash On A Maxima????

Check out this dask

Was this a option or a rare find like my soft top? Would that cluster work in a regular cluster?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought it was only a option for the 89 GXE as a promotional to celebrate the new body design. First year for the 3rd gen.

I'm almost positive that I've seen it on 89 and 90, I'm not sure about 91 though (only available on GXEs for any of those years). I know it definitely was not on any 92-94 after the "2nd phase" of 3rd gens.

I only have Nissan brochures for the 89,92, and 94 Maxima so I can't check the options for the 2 years that we're wondering about

I have a 90 with the digital dash. It is cool, but a lot of problems.

I too have an 90 with the digital dash. My big problem with it is it doesn't work when it's cold out..... Once the heat comes up and the interior starts getting warm it will come on...

I have a 90

I have a 90 GXE. It started going at around 135K. Would take longer and longer to come on (especially if cold), then finally died at 165K. Rebuilt for $300 (Nissan wanted $1,200) and works great for the past 1 1/2 years...

Mine is starting to behave the same way. It takes longer and longer to show up when it is cold. I have 135,000 on it and I'm afraid it will die. How did you rebuild it when yours died?????
