Can "MAXIMA" emblem be removed???

I have a 1991 Maxima SE, the kind that has the black back with the MAXIMA emblem on the back. Here's my question: Is it possible to remove these sticker letters from the back of the car?

are you sure? I started to peel one letter off and it looks like its starting to peel quite easily. Anyone else ever try to do this?

I've seen it done before by this guy that used to park his 89-91 SE on my block, but unfortunately I don't have a clue how he did it.

yeah, they peel right off.

I removed my as soon as I purchased it in 1990.

Use a hair dryer to heat them up a little bit and they will come right off. Clean any residue with some paint thinner and a rag.

Messes with peoples heads?
So you mean to tell me that some people do a double-take because they are trying to figure out whether you drive a Skyline or a Maxima?

The point I tried to make was that most people on the board remove the M A X I M A(regardless of gen.) lettering and the reason they usually give is that they want to confuse other drivers on what kind of car they drive which sounds pretty ridiculous in my opinion, some go as far as to stick a GTR emblem on(just because you pour syrup on **** does not make it pancakes), if you want to give yout max make a clean aspect by all means I understand but when you have these guys that remove lettering for the dumbest of reasons it strikes a cord with me.

Post pics of your cefiro back end lettering.

Enough said.
