I'm new to this board so hopefully I'll be able to learn more about my Maxima. Today I was driving my 91 Maxima and it lost totall power. I peformed the "self diagnostic" and it came up code 21 = " Ignition signal, The ignition signal in the primary circuit is not entered during engine cranking or running. This repair must be performed by a dealer service department" What happened? I check everything and everything comes up good. I tested the crank sensor and that's fine. Please help me!! Andrew

 

that code is most likely gotten in error. Reset the ecu and do the diagnostics again.
