I was rear ended friday night at 6 p.m. Some 16 year old kid who just got his license lately f--ken rear ended me. Now me and my lil bro is injured also. Honestly i think i know what happened. I was in front of him at a stop sign and he had a long glimpse of my car and was wonderig what kinda car it was so he sped down following so closely to me that when i brake for another car in front of me his car couldnt brake in time. Now my car is total. I had a 90 se/black on black/sprint springs/exhaust/system/stillen body kit/intake/17 in rims. im so ****ed!!! The stillen kit...i just slapped it on about a week ago. Not even painted yet. Supposely getting it painted the day after the crash but now....im going to have to wait. To top it all....the friggin kids car had barely any damage to it!!! damn suv's.
But it's okay i guess......now 3rd gen ve is in mind and i am looking to buy as soon as i get some $$$ back for my max. The only bad thing is im suppose to leave for military dec but now cant go because im injured!!! This is just a sad story!! i almost shed tears when this happened. All the work i've done myself w/ the help of my bros. and then this happenes.

I'm assuming the dumbass is paying for his mistake? Paying through the roof, hopefully? He better be! I hope he's not uninsured. I hate SUV too, I think they're a menace. Ill-handling, dangerous for smaller vehicles, prone to rollover, and blocking the view of drivers of smaller vehicles!

 

I hope you and your brother get better. Sometimes young kids are getting their license's too early and some think they can drive real well. Some do and some don't!

 

this kills me. Oh yeah that SUV just hit him by itself...I mean there was a driver in the SUV right. SUVs themselves are not the problem it is the people that dont pay attention while driving them.

 

agreed, most people drive them like cars, thats the problem, they think thell stop as short as a 2000 pound car.

I hate people who tailgate, I get it all the time in my car, every other car with an exhaust feels they have the right to ride ride up on my ***. I used to tapp the brakes then jam on them. now since the new paint job I just switch lanes and let them pass.
I hate stopping at lights because Im afraid that someones gonna slam right into me. I saw four accidents driving back from a job today. within 20 miles. all seemed to be because someone wasnt paying attention, I really think they should retest every 3 or 4 years for licenses

 

sorry chris but i wont be parting anything. Waiting for thier insurance to pay up $$$ so i can enter the world of a ve. I'll just swap everything over to the 92se+ once i get my hands on one. I know i'll love the ve power!!!

i was this close to beating his a$$!!!.... but the first words to come out of my mouth was.......do you have fawken insurance????? to be exact!!!! That's harsh but that was the first thing said. I tell you man......i love my max.......worked so hard on it. And i spent countless hours on it making it the best i can and it turns out like this. This was just a very disappointing day for me. Hope after you guys pimp the **** outta your car this dont happen to you guys!!! Yeah i know its devasting but to think about it......it couldve been worse so im just glad things aint as bad...even though we're injured.....it couldve turned out a lot worse...

AMEN to that.. Every day on my way to work or on the way home.. I have to Honk to at least 2 cars for driving like an idiot.. Most of the people driving on the streets need to have their license taken away.
