yeah, car should be running definently by end of November. his mechanic has been busy so the final things to get the motor ready haven't been done.

as for the lights, man they are sitting in my room right now and I can't help but stop studying and check them out ONE more time, man they are too sweet!!

Your car would look great with the skyline tails. Maybe something to do in the future still

to make them work? not much, to make them fit, a decent amount, dont een bother with this if your not prepared to shell out some cash$$$ (to have it done right) or do it yourself(and this is not a DIY job unless youve got body work expiereince (no matter what anyone says about doing it over the weekend with a freind))

Yeah, look at Stu. His brother has a body shop and they did it over a weekend. Now his trunk leaks bad every time it rains...

I just got a pair of R33s from a 4 door. They look a lot like R32s in shape. I imagine these are going to take even more work to make them look right, but it will be different. I'm going to put them on the 90 SE I'm getting this week, since my 89 has new paint and I hate to screw that up. J you could have done the tails but don't kick yourself or anything, I almost think your car looks better with the stock tails then it would with R33s... IMO

well the only thing I dont like about the stock tails is the inside edge doesnt really look finished, but I may take some small black molding nd put it on the insides egedes of the lights

You lost me on that, bro? Are you talking about the edge between the tails and where the trunk is molded?? From the pics you posted a week or so ago it looked like a pretty clean line to me. ?? What exactly are you unsatisfied with???

no they did a great job, Im talking about on the taillight, the edge that used to but up against the center piece, it has no definative edge because it used to just carry right into the center piece, now (to me) it looks like its missing something. hard to explain, but I thought if I put a small strip of black molding on that edge I could get it to look like there never was a center piece

Oh, I see. I didn't have that problem with the older style SE lights. I have a VG.......

never really liked those because the clear part on the bottom wraps all the way around, mine ends before the lense begines to curve to the side of the car

I actually prefer it...

But yeah, I think they must be different on the inside part where they would meet the center piece because mine don't look like that. Maybe you could find some kind of weather stripping at Home Depot or something that matches it and go from there.
