Body work

Alright, here is the story. I was at work one rainy night. I got off jumped in my car and drove home. To my surprise when i went to unlock the trunk the key wouldent turn. I looked at the top of the tunk and there is about a 1/2 ft dent on the right side of it. Plus the spoiler clips snaped and the top of my trunk is waved. So the next day i went back to work and a guy from the construction place next door said he backed into my car with a dump trunk. Ok great $1300 to get fixed. Then 2 weeks later a friend of mine backed into my front end in his Ford ranger P/U. Damage? Yes, I need a new hood, 2 head lights, bumper, grill and front body tie bars. Great there is $2,120 there. So my cars goin to be in the shop for a while and i am stuck driving my sisters beat 1991 sentra with the pep-boys plastic hub caps and pink lepord print license plate boarders. Ohh well thats life.

sounds like time for BMW lights, CF hood, and with Stillen kits going at $475 or so you might as well grab one of them too. save on paint and you install.

get a cf hood as long as you're getting a new one. I imagine your friend's insurance and the construction company's insurance are paying for the damages?

You should use some of that money to paint your car in some lurid color, so it'll be more noticeable! How about screaming yellow or bright orange or something! Maybe add strobe lights that flashes when you leave your car!

that is what they are saying, get it fixed now while this work actually needs to be done. don't wait till after everything is fixed. i would seriously look into the stillen body kit as well.

thanks for that laugh i was having a rough day at work til i saw this part.
sux about your car needing all those repairs. its not coming out of your pocket i hope. but i think you should do what everyone else is suggesting and hook it up now rather than wait until everything is fixed then doing thoe mods. that is ofcourse if you have the money to spend. but its your car, so do what you think is right
