I have a really bad problem with my car. I have searched and found lots of things on this but no one has described anything like what i have. what is happening is the car stalls out when i am accelerating. but it is a weird stall. for example if i am accelerating and the car stalls and i keep the pedal pushed down, it is like the car isn't in gear and the the engine rpm's just bounce between like 1800-2200, but it doesn't make the car jerk or anything. but as soon as i let off the gas pedal i can push it back down and it will go fine, until the next time it stalls. it could happen 10 times a day or not once, and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with temp or climate. i have already put 2 new coils, new fuel pump relay, new fuel filter, fuel injector cleaner, cleaned connectors, i think that is all. it is weird though. i would appriciate any help you guys can bring to my problem. Check throttle position sensor and MAF sensor. Refer to Factory Service Manual for diagnostic procedures. Also check fuel injectors. It is air/fuel related.
