c.v. shaft question. . . .

Hey folks. . .
I'm about to replace the c.v. shafts on my '92 Maxima, and I'm wondering if there is anything I should know about the passenger-side shaft support bearing. Does the shaft slip out of this easily?
Thanks.

since your replaceing both sides , take out the drivers side first...
after the passenger side is about to come out go over to the drivers side with a wood doll and stick it threw the tranny and pound the passenger side out...

make sure you remove the three bolts on the bearing support.

if driving it out from the drivers side doesn't work, an air hammer at the support will take care of it.

they tend to corrode in place, depending on where the car is from.
