GOOD NEWS!!!

very good news. Ok first off the sale of the bike is going great, the buy on the maxima is proceeding perfectly and on top of all of this i saw my sister tonight and she is letting me take the maxima tommorow and get the kit removed and the wing . so if anyone wants the wing feel free to make offers. I will be adding the kit to the new max after winter. Wish me luck! anyone know how to get paint of the stillen kit?

I would say take the kit to a shop and have them take it off and repaint it.

I notice there was mention that the air bag was an option in 92. My car is up for inspection next month, and I currently do not have one. Will I get into trouble for this and not pass inspection?

I doubt it will be under $100..Are you installing it yourself? Even so, the paint itself will cost that much, then theres prep time and materials..I'd think $300 would be more likely.

duhhhhhh

i dont think you understood what i typed. Im having the kit removed from my old maxima. Im paying a shop locally to take it off, all there is to it is pop rivits, double sided tape, and some paintable sealant. i think drilling the pop rivits and heat up the tape will take about 2 hours max. so 100 would be fair. im not reinstalling it till feb or so. im going to hand sand the whole kit myself.
