DNAS420 back on the org??

yep folks this could be it! i am going tommoro to look at a 92 se 5spd... its pearl white/ with tan leather, 170k (yeah yeah ), seems to be in great shape even has wood grain interior. Has some minor mechanical problem, problably needs a tune up. I am going to test drive it tommoro and see what the deal is, but he wants to trade me straight up for my bike because he already has a trans-am ram air, and this was supposed to be his winter car. So his loss my gain. I will keep you all updated. Soon i will once again be one of the brotherhood! I now feel as one, knowing i will again drive a maxima (no more vg auto ) VE 5SPD here i come!!!

OMG

you wont believe this! this guys car has some major problem... First it has a hard time starting, irratic tach, smokes gas fumes from the rear exhaust, sometimes wont go past 29 mph, and dies constantly. it has to be a air/fuel problem. i told him to part it out. There was no hope for it in my eyes, other than that it was in perfect shape.
The search continues! I still have buyers for the bike incase i cant find someone who will trade me. please help me if you can. i cant spend anymore than 3000, and i would love to trade everything i have with my bike with a few hundred too if need be.

I'd talk him way down and grab it up man. Why not, if you get it low enough, you could put that money into some engine work.

dnas420, nice find man..any plans? How much did it go for?

Dnas it looks very nice. Nice VE and nice shape. Why isn't the center piece of the trunk the VE style one? It's the 89-91 SE style VG centerpiece.

I wasn't aware that the 89-91 had different steering wheels. I know that the SE had the nice fat leather 4-spoke like mine, but what do the 92+ wheels look like? If it's true that's a shady buy..too bad there are no engine pics.

Yeah, I think you are right man. SO is this not 92, but maybe a 91? That would suck, for dnas420 anyway! I can see it now. The seller figured they would pull a fast one, so they got the later model taillights and grill, but forgot the center section. Oh s#$t! Can anyone verify the steeringwheel issue?

i never noticed

well i got it for 2800. He is going to get me pics tommoro of the engine bay, trunk, interior, and tell me whats up with the radio. he said he is a middle man and the buy that bought it problably had some crack on it and replaced it. the sterring wheel confuses even me ( was problably in bad shape). He is telling me run the vin and it is a 92 se. The ad also says tape am/fm. but i see a detachable face cd. does he have the face plate? do the speakers work? tommoro i will know. No contract has been made as of yet. ill post the pics tommoro.

My 92SE has the same one. Airbags were an option in 92.

i also noticed

it also says keyless entry, which he says is the keychain kind but he is going to verify. The airbag is optional so im not complaining. The tail piece isnt that big of a deal cause i got that covered. The radio and engine pics and info are coming tonight or tommoro. Right now im trying to figure out taking a bus vs a plane. then the money to get back. its a 1900 mile trip back. and i havent gotten to drive the car till i get there so im cautous of driving 2000 miles on a car i havent really gotten to date lol. But im weighing out the shipping price vs these. he says he can possibly get me a deal. it would come directly to my door! talk about great service, hmmmm i wonder if i get free cheezy bread

Free cheezy bread HAHA man you kill me!

Try the shipping route, it is cheaper believe me, unless you just want to go out there and check it and if it isn't everything you hoped ditch it unless you are under a buyers contract already with that company!

Also check SOuthwest Airlines out of Louisville's , Standford Field for a good rate on flying!

Cal me Dennis if you need any help at (859) 224-9551

Later
Jared

yeah

well i made all the money tonight to get the car. Man i love driving strippers . So now i need to finalize the bike sale. Then pay and then i have 14 days to get the money for shipping it and insurance on it. My mom i guess sold my car locally, my friend who drove a 90 se 5spd called me and told me he saw it. I think my sister bought it, even though i already asked her two weeks ago and she told me she wasnt interested. but only time will tell. the good news is i have my kit, wing, wheels, and many other mods locally for the taking! isnt it nice to have maxima friends. We always look out for each other
