replacing disc brakes with ABS
Does anyone know how much money it would cost or if it would be worth it to replace my disc brakes w/ABS brakes, bc i don't really like mine. Mine also have the ****ty drum brakes in the back.
Thanks,
Josh

if you simply want discs in the back, that's not too bad. (read the FAQ pages at the top for my instructions).
If you want to install ABS, that's not worth it. sel your car and buy another with it already installed. it'll be cheaper.

click the back button once and look at the top six or so threads on this forum with the word "IMPORTANT" at the beginning and "3rd Gen FAQ" somewhere in the title.
look in the FAQ page that I've written up. there's a link in there, I promise. do a little reading and then ask questions if you still have any.

that's the whole point of the conversion. only GXEs had drum brakes. all SEs and the GXEs with ABS have disc brakes front and rear.
if you read the directions and follow them word for word, you can swap everything over. If you can't understand the instructions how they're typed now, I highly suggest you pay someone else to do it, or don't try to attempt it yourself.
