Clutch pedel questions??...Kinda URGENT

hey wats up guyz, well i just had an ACT clutch installed in my '92 5spd in the begining of october, clutch is great very happy w/ it catchs great, however i noticed for the past couple of weeks, the clutch pedel itself, is fine when the car hasnt been driven for a while itz fine for a short amount of time, then the pedel in a way starts to tighten up, it becomes unsmooth and makes a creeking noice, does anyone know wat this could be, i went back to where i had the clutch put in and im supposed to bring it back in the morning, said it could possibily be the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder but im not a clutch expert so i dont know, but itz like the more i drive the car around the worse it gets..??? any suggestions or answer would be greatly appreciated, thanx!

it could be hydraulics, but usually the creaking noise is simply due to the clutch fork not being lubed.. the slave cylinder pushes against the fork, which pushes on the throwout bearing. the point where the slave cylinder contacts the fork needs to be lubed, or it'll squeak.

Hmmm...interesting, so u dont think it should be anything major?..Just so i dont get ripped off or anything...like it owuldnt be the clutch master cylinder, just possibly the slave cylinder or just the ofrk needs to be lubed up...or even just more hydraulic fluid or somehting?

As in, pop the hood and have a helper press the clutch pedal in. you'll see the clutch fork moving (only an inch or so) on the front of the tranny. when you see it, try to locate the noise. it'll probably be coming from there. take some WD-40 and spray on that spot. if the noise goes away, there's your problem. lube it up with some thicker grease and be done with it.

It could also be the pedal hinge itself squeaking. that's not too uncommon either.

Alrite great, ill try that, thanx....is the pedal itself getting a lil tighter anything, or is that all in my head or soemthing due to the creaking?

probably due to your head, but if it is, it could be the hinge on the clutch pedal itself giving you problems. you'll find out after you chase down the squeaky noise.

Be warned that the ACT is also MUCH stiffer than the OE clutch pedal.
