Anyone tried that B&M trick shift trans fluid?

I'm goin for a tranny flush next week and I'm thinking of using the synthetic trick shift. Anyone have any experience with it?

works good..improves shifting too.

But, if you wanna save some money, just buy ATF type F.....you'll get the same effects for about half the price

Type F?

Switch to type F sounds like a tranny killer to me.

I flushed my tranny 3 times (in one week) the first time i used reg. dexron III, it felt alot better!, but the 2nd and 3rd time i used 2 quorts of the B&M trickshift and lucas tran-fix. my car shifted much better on the downshifts as well as up shifts. Use it, combine it with other ATF's or use it all by it self.
-remember get as much ATF out of the car as you can..
-remove the ATF lines goin into the bottem of the radiator to get a bit more ATF out.
-clean the magnet on the drain plug really well.
-if the tranny fluid has NEVER been flushed and you have a lot of miles on the car, flush it a few times it helps.
good luck.. it's an easy job

Thanx for the input. BTW a transmission mechanic told me with the amount of miles on my car, DON'T have the tranny flushed. He said if it's working fine don't mess with it. He said draining the fluid and adding the trick shift would be fine tho.

A 'flush' and a 'drain and fill' are two completely different things. A flush is when you take your car to an oil changing place or the dealer and they hook it up to a pump. They will continue to pump new fluid in your trany and let it drain out the other side until new fluid starts coming out.

Also, a new way to do the flush is when they vacuum all the fluid out of your tranny. Then, they fill it completely full. This is better especially if you have a servicable filter.

A drain and fill is when you drain it... then fill it. Like an oil change.

BTW, the trans mechanic that took care of me on replacing my freeze plugs on the rear of the engine said about flusing the tranny with the machine, with an older tranny with miles like mine, it has a lot of grit in the transmission that actually helps the clutches hold. If I have it flushed out it may start slipping. He also gave me a price of $1300 for a complete rebuild including some valve body mods and raising the line pressure. A little more for a higher stall tc.
