Seems that 3rd gen is still the best!

Every time I peek over at the 5th gen forum its people *****in about things going wrong or not enough Hp or that they can't believe that the paid $25K+ for it or I am selling ASAP. I thought the 255hp max was nissans come back but I guess not Its somewhat sad over there. If I am ever going to buy another nissan it going to be a 94SE 5 speed. To think I almost bought a 03 max. 3rd Gen for life

Yep, and remember the 3rd gen was once $25,000+ new. In 10 years or so you can get a 5th gen for about $3500

Who would want one of those low quility battle ships in 10 years. In 10 years I will have another 3rd gen in my driveway for weekends

The only thing that ****es me off about our 3rd Gen is that After Market Part are so hard to come across for them. All the auto shops only have the Honda/Acura parts. What about us??

That why we have one of the best researching websites in the world!! And plus, there is a lot of stuff out there to do to make this thing faster. You just have to know exactly where to look. When you go into ANY performance shop, all they will have is Honda stuff. Since people think there is nothing available for the Maxima... they won't expect to see a 92 Maxima Auto about to bust into the 14's without forced induction. Makes me proud!!

Actually, I have loved and always wanted a max for my fist car. My bro and father both had 2nd Gen Max's (GXE&SE) and I loved then since then. Now that I have gotten older and see the potential that Max's have, I love them even more. And after seeing what to do from my bro's car(StRRRive) and what not to do, and see haw they can look and handle on the streets of the over crowded import world makes me want to spen every cent on my max!!

THIS GIRL I KNOW WANTED TO GIVE A CAR TO CHARITY, WHEN ASKED WHY, SHE TOLD ME IT NEEDS A BATTERY AND IT SHUTTERS WHEN SHE BRAKES(ENGINE MOUNT)I ASKED HER WHAT KIND OF CAR SHE SAID "89 MAX GXE" I TOLD HER TO LET ME SEE IT . WHEN SHE OPENED THE GARAGE THE IT WAS A GOLD MAX THAT JUST NEEDED SOME TLC AND IT'S GOOD TO GO! I TOLD HER TO GIVE IT TO ME AND SHE DID A 3RD GEN FOR NOTHING. I TOOK IT CLEANED HER UP ,TUNED HER UP AND NOW SHE IS A LITTLE ROAD WORTHY. SPRING TIME STARTS THE REAL PROJECT. NOW WHEN SHE SEE'S ME SHE TELLS ME TO GIVE IT BACK. NOW SHE DRIVES A CAMRY NEED I SAY MORE 3RD GEN ALWAYS AND FOREVER!
