opinions on clutches????

now i recently was told by matt93 se that for my needs act street disc would be the best replacement. i just read the thread on paeco clutches and it caught my eye because they have a warranty and a reputable name. i ordered the catalog but don't know how long that will take. what do you think would be a better buy? almost sold on act but this clutch looks promising? i plan to mod after putting in the clutch... peace

Nobody has a paeco clutch. So you can either pay more and be a pioneer, or go with what is tried and true.

i don't know, that paeco clutch should be pretty good since they have a warranty even if you race it. they also said they don't have a power limit on it. also, the price i put down is for the 300zx turbo so it might be cheaper if you say a maxima, but i'm not sure. i'm definately getting one for my turbo engine.

ACT all the way

Get the ACT modified street clutch with the Heavy Duty pressure plate. Matt, along with 99% of other ACT clutch users here including myself, will tell you the same thing. Who really cares about warranty unless you know how to put in the clutch yourself. You are still going to have to pay someone to put take out the damaged clutch, send it back, then pay to have it put back in. I'd go with what more people have had success with and thats the ACT.
