I currently have a 93 SE 5spd with 130k miles. I have the JWT ECU upgrade among others and I recently bought a Zex Nitrous system. Will the advanced timing that the JWT computer uses make the nitrous more dangerous for my engine? I know that retarding the timing is ideal for this situation but I am only going to use the 55 shot an I am making other precautions, zex spark plugs and high octane fuel. Anyone currently using this setup let me know. I directed towards these two guys because they know wtf their talking about but I am sure someone else will have some advice and I would appreciate it.

I would recommend talking to JWT directly about it.. They sell chips that are programmed to run NOS, so I'm sure they'll know what needs to be done.

Yeah, contact JWT. I'm not sure how much the ECU advances the timing or changes the fuel curves. They'll be able to tell you all the info on the ECU.

Yeah, I don't think the advanced timing on the ecu is very compatible w/ the NOS set-up. Let me know what JWT says, it might be cheaper to swap w/ a normal ecu for a 55 shot.

JWT does sell a nitrious program (daugther board) in adition to their normal ECU upgrade. For more info goto their site at http://www.jimwolftechnology.com. Believe me most of the fastest nissans use the JWT nitrious program, it might look expensive but it takes all of the tuning issue's out. Also you get to keep the JWT ecu's performance went your not on the bottle.
