look for Scratch Remover

Living in bad-environmented Philly, my max gets scratches now and then. I tried to use alcohol to remove the scratch and bumper dusts that other people left on my car, but somebody said it is not good for the clear coat.

So can you recommend a kind of scratch remover? THanks.

Depends on the severity of scratches. I've used this http://www.superiorcarcare.net/megscratxbrf.html with some success for annoying scratches. If they're deep in the paint they get harder to remove. Where in philly are you? I used to live in center city but since I graduated and moved back to NJ the car doesn't get into the city anymore...

I am in university city area. This is a really bad neighborhood. SOme people get out of their parking slot by bulldozing away the cars in front and behind. Also,This city only cares about how much it can ticket you. So i think your decision not to stay in city is absolutely right.

I was planning to buy a new ACURA TL in March, but now I have to think it again. What you think?

I live in Philly also and park my car in University City all the time. people there don't really care about their cars.. i got a lot of scratches on my bumpers but didn't try to remove it cause its a neverending routine.. but i have oxidation all over my car i think. It looks like small orange speckles all over my car. I'm not sure cause i get it on my glass also. What does oxidation look like? what is the best way and stuff to get rid of it?
