Mikey you see these yet?? Czar, if I have more time, I'll try to upload more. I found the disc.

This is with the head off(long story!) and after I cleaned the pistons and prepped the block for the new head gasket. <img src=http://www.zing.com/picture/p2df36832cda32c1e3b3ed06f2e9cedb0/ff08d0a2.jpg.orig.jpg>

This is just after I took the head off. Thought someone would like to see the combustion chamber. Decent design me thinks.

Here's a bad pic of the rear side exhaust w/ two studs broken. One I got out, the other well...let's not get into that! You can see how the last exhaust port area is blackened by the leaking exhaust. That small black hose is the pcv valve I believe.

Here is a pic of the head w/ the exhaust cam off. You have to remove the exhaust cam to access the head bolts(for head removal) This **** starts to get scary now!

Just a good pic of the lower intake manifold, fuel rail and injectors. Alot better design than the VG maximas. All the essential tools present..vice grips, HAMMER etc..LOL! I was probably getting ready to take out the injectors to send to RC engineering for the sonic clean.

haha... after seeing those pics...

I feel like going to the junkyard and buying my old VG engine so I can rip it apart and rebuilt it (racing style) hehe..

Thanks Jeff!!!!!!!

Thanks for the great pics... I am taking a lot of pics as I go today but they are on film so I will have to get them developed and scanned. I am going pretty slow on my engine removal right now. Today I removed the radiator (5 min.) and disconnected the driver's side CV axle (2 min.) I love how all you have to do is pull off three nuts to pull the driver's side CV out of the tranny and swing it up to the fender brace to hang it. So I really didn't do much on it but I prob. will do more tomorrow. I know that the pass. side CV is harder because of the support bolted to the block. I expect to do that in 10-15 min. I get my engine the 2nd or 3rd and then I should have my car back by next weekend.
