Painted Trunk Reflectors?

I was wondering if anyone painted over their trunk reflector and then stuck on those 4th Gen "MAXIMA" letters to make their 3rd Gen seem like a 4th Gen? If anyone has, do you have pics? I'd like to see if it looks cool before I do it to mine. Also, did you remove the silver pieces before you painted them? Etc...

BTW...I'm a n00b. So yeah, I'm a moron if this has been explained and mentioned already. Sorry.

yeah I did, all it took was a $5 can of Krylon Red

If you do decide to paint it, at least use auto paint and match it to your car so it looks decent

Wow, looks sweet! I was wondering....what did you replace it with? Was it something you could buy or did you have to make it yourself?

N34JZ,
Looks good. I think your up next for MOTM. Your moving your way on up the top ten Maxima list. That would be tight. Two 3 gens in a row. I am getting my trunk shaved. It is going in the shop on Dec. 21 to get Z3 Fenders molded in and getting the trunk shaved. I also have the stillen kit to put on.

Have you ever done any body work?? I shaved mine back in May, and did the same thing J had his body shop do. I had to bend and spot-weld some scrap metal to it and fiberglass out the 'imperfections' to get it smooth. It doesn't look right just painted, BTW. I did that too a couple of years ago. It didn't look right.

Sorry the pic is kind of crap. Bad digi-cam
