Hmm, Thats odd...

I feel like I'm looking at a pic of my car on this post. Hey SkyMax, your dash pic on your sig looks familiar...oh I know, its because thats exactly what my dash looks like. Yours looked good man, although I did change the trim to the 92-94 style, all flush. You also seem to had the same kenwood stereo as I do. MASK faceplate, right? I have a gap on the left hand side though, what can I do about that? is it the radio or the trim itself? What kind of paint did you use? I used aluminum spray. Looked good.

Re: Skymax...

uhhh, I would change my interior if I could but I don't have my old max anymore! Don't worry though, I don't have any steering wheel covers on my Pearl white max. Thanks for your compliments

Re: Hmm, Thats odd...

Thanks. First, I want to clarify some things... 1) The dash is NOT painted. It was professionally stained meaning it is scratch proof unlike painted dashes. 2) I have a Japanese Kenwood RR-550E CD-player.. It's similar to the KDC-9010 in the U.S. but slightly different. My headunit fit perfectly. I don't see how yours would have a gap. It may be your 92-94 trim?

how much did that cost to have died? We have a good dye guy around here. You should pull it out of your skyblue max from the boneyard and pop it in your pearl max.

The shop that stained my dash charged me $150 but that was due to the fact that my Team gets a group discount from them. I wish I could take out my dash but by LAW I'm not legally allowed to since the Junkyard owns my max title. I tried talking to the owners numerous times about taking some parts of and they have rejected me each time. The want to sell my old max as a "complete" car to someone. They are not willing to part it out. I still can't believe my dad sold it to those bastards behind my back for $400!!!! My exhaust system costed that much!! I get mad just thinking about it.

lol... The reason I didn't install the rest of the CAI is because I didn't want to drill a hole in the fender (I'm not keeping this max). The filter looks really bad because it was crushed in my accident and rain was pouring on it and dirt was everywhere at the towing lot. I think its time for it's annual cleaning
