CD changer question

I realize this is a vague question but on the '92 Maxima I picked up, there is a Alpine FM Modulated CD Changer installed. The changer is in the trunk but I am trying to find the actual module but can't see it under the dash on the drivers side and passenger side. Obviously you can't tell me exactly where it is, but would any of you know possibly where I might look for it? The problem I'm having is that the antenna signal is still coming through even when the changer is on.

Thanks

Check in the trunk, by the changer itself. We have a Sony changer and all the stuff is mounted in the trunk by the changer.

if ur talkin' about the FM module, it's most likely behind the actual headunit(stereo). Most installers i work with usually install them there b/c it's right next to the antenna connections. If not, trace the antenna plugged into the head unit, it should lead u to it.

Thanks guys.

Is taking off the console around the head unit fairly simple? I've taken apart my integra completely apart both mechanically and interior wise but because of the winter I am a little hesitant to get into something deep with the car since I don't have a garage to work in. TIA

I found craig's site to be very helpful for getting to the head unit.
