My Interior clock keeps on dimming and getting bright is there any way to fix this problem and also reply if you have the same prob because i would like to see if it is a common prob or not.

Thank You

Jay

Clock

Its a very common prob. with Nissans. Both of mine have that prob. I think if you look up in the FAQ section there is a description of how to fix it. It involves resoldering all the soldered locations and replacing a component or two. Have fun taking off the dash to get to it!!!!!!!

I hear that one!

I just wanted to replace the damn thing, but I'm too lazy to take apart the dash again. The thing starts to blink sometimes. I wonder what else I could put there in its place that would look good. But for now, A good smack now and then does the trick for me.

I think it would be worth the 20 minutes of ripping the dash apart to fix it. It took me less time to fix the clock than it did to get to it, plus you won't have some ugly, parts store POS in its place. I think I did mine about a year ago and it's still works the way it should.

I plan on fixing my clock. Its not hard to take apart the dash,I wouldnt worry about that. I would like to know about the capacitors though. If I take it to an electronics shop will they be able to get me the right capacitors?
