Dash-Switches bulb replacement

92 Maxima question!
The dash board switches (rear defrost, climate control, dimmer, mirror, power window, etc) most of the bulbs have blown. I have tried my local Nissan dealer for replacement bulbs. However Nissan states I must purchase the entire switch for just the bulb.
I can not believe that I can not purchase these bulbs separate. Am I suppose to pay $800.00 for a new climate control unit because two of the four LED bulbs are blown and $25.00 a piece for each switch.
Nissan actually recommends me to start sifting through junkyards to find a replacement bulb. This is crazy. I have been to every local auto parts/accessory's store with no luck.
If anybody knows where to purchase these bulbs please let me know.

Also have tried Radio Shack no luck their either!

I have a max 90 gxe and bought some bulbs at the nissan dealer, part #
25169-89905
They where expensive almost 4 $
Found out later i could buy these bulbs in an ordinary electronic
part shop even in a lot of different colours and for less price
The lights are just small glassbulbs with two feed wires ,so
you have two use the fittings of your burned out bulbs.
I found in my switches two different fittings one of plastic and
some of rubber, both you can change out the bulbs
So try an electronic part shop.
if you can not find them let my know.

Thanks for the help. I ordered the parts today, I should get them in a couple of days. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Can you believe I actually called nissans costumer service and they told me to go to a junk yard. What nonsense, you think these people would think that a light bulb will eventually go bad.

Thanks to Everyone for the help!

I can vouch for that radio shack bulbs too. I've replaced many of my dash bulbs with it. They fit and the work!

Mighta want to invest in a magnifying glass and really small screwdrivers or flathead tweezers if you don't have them.

I've replaced the bulds in my 1990 max. I've replaced the climate control, tranny swicth bulds. I got them from radio Shack, I believe they were T1 bulds. They come as loose bulds. I pilled out the blown bulb from the plastic holder that screws the bulb into place. I wired the new bulb the same way the old bulb was. I pretty sure the Bulbs you needed are the same style bulb, either T1 or T2. T1 is a smaller buld T2 is larger.
