If You Have a '90 GXE
YEEEAH - if you've got a '90 GXE - i got some questions for you...
1) Has your crankshaft pulley ever come loose?
2) Have your valve cover gaskets ever leaked oil?
3) Does your heater suck?
4) Do we need a camber kit for a 2" drop?
5) How much is a camber kit?
6) Would you shave in your bumper cracks and shave your rear middle piece?
7) Has your tach ever jumped from like 500 to 1500+?
8) Are Z3 fenders available? if so, where?
9) Are carbon fiber hoods available? if so, where?
10) Is a turbo or supercharger available?
11) WHY DONT WE HAVE CUP HOLDERS?
12) what does GXE stand for?

chances are someone is going to yell at you to search so i'll just say search but i'll give some input.

7. it bumps from 500 to 1000 now and then but mostly stays really low at 500, i need to fix that
8. no, but you can get them put in by a body shop. erebuni has the pieces. most people on here don't like them though but one guy said they can help by letting hot air out of the engine bay which is true and a good idea but i wouldn't copy the z3 style, be unique
9. yes, fiberimages.com i believe. there was a GD going on earlier and i think the company that made them still has the mold and will make it for around 600 dollars.
10. there are no kits available. you can swap in a vg30et from a older 300zx but it would take time and money.
11. i'm not sure why nissan forgot these, especially in their flahship luzury sedan, but the best thing you can do is make your own somehow.
12. i'm not sure it really stands for anything but it basically means it was the luxury verion of the car. there was GXE and SE at the time and SE meant Sport Edition. GXE always came with an auto and had more "luxury" items.

no.6 would be dificult because the bumpers are very flaxible and will crack if you fill them. Now if you could get a fiberglass bumper then it might work but could still crack if it was bumped. Now all that being said I dont think I would do it unless it was strictly for show.
and btw you told Chris that you werent asking about performance stuff but look at your number 10 question. Last I heard a turbo or supercharger is a performance upgrade...not being a smartbutt...just pointing it out.

if you actually read what the cardomain site says...those stats are for my friends car. not mine. i'm not claiming to have a 13 sec. max. it's his. i wrote in plain english..'this is what my car will look like, no good pics yet'. and there's no need to dog on someone if they ask questions.

A VG auto is not running those times unless some SERIOUS work is done to it and if your "friend" runs those times and has done the work then most if not all the questions you ask, he can easily help you with which makes us question the credibility of this so called 13 second VG...

and I really dont think 205hp would give you 13.8 (5.1 0-60) unless you're driving a go-kart

i'm sorry that i dont know what he's running cris. but as you can see...i dont know as much about cars/maxima's as you do. yeah, he might of got some SERIOUS work done...and his is 5spd...mine is auto. i think his is more of a '91 or '92. but shiit man, it's all good.
