Cylinder Head Temp. Sensor DEAD!!! HELP!!!!!!!!

Ok guys, ive diagnosed my Cylinder head temp sensor as dead! And for the life of me i cant find the @#%$%@ thing! Ive read that id'e have to take some belts off!? BUT also read that i might not have to, though no one seems to have any instructions on this. Also my engine is idleing WAY too low, bout 500rpm then stalls out. If anyone can help i need

1. The EXACT location of this cylinder head temp sensor. And step by step instructions on how to remove it.
2. The EXACT location of the idle adjust screw
If anyone has some pics or tutorials on this please email me or gimme a link

Now my car is a 1990 Maxima GXE VG30E. If anyone can help me, man alive, PLEASE let me know. My car is dead without it, and I gots classes 1hr away!!!

Ive searched on this and no one seems to have had this problem as bad as i have

If anyone knows ANYTHING about this, PLEASE let me know

it's there, it just doesn't look anything like that because the drawings were made with the engine out of the car. completely different perspective.

Some pics of my situation

Ok, heres a pic of that same area that the manual has a diagram for. Its not a great pic but if you look where the nissan symbol is upside down, right below it is the timing belt cover. From what I can tell it looks like a bolt is where the sensor should be.

Then we have this mess of wires, one of these is the CHTS cable, BUT i have no idea which

So if ANYONE can help me, please!!! Im running out of time, and I only have till EARLY tomorrow morning to fix this.

i was looking at mine and i can't see anything either. the only wires i see going to that area that could be the temp sensor are under the distributor as if you have to take it off. other than that i'm not sure.

Yeah...that's cause the pic is of the Front of the engine...meaning the passenger side of the car. Standing on the passenger side of the car, look to the cam gear on the right. The sensor is on the end of the head just below it, but kinda up behind it. It's up in a hole and not easy to see. Try getting a mirror and some good lighting to find it. I have been told that a metric deepwell socket and universal can fit on it and get it out without removing anything else on the car. I know it will be tough though.
Be prepared to cuss. Have something like a cardboard box handy, as throwing an occasional tool at it will help to relieve stress.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think their illustration also assumes that you have the timing belt cover off..

nope..if you look again at the picture it shows the cover on. If you imagine the timing cover as a triangle with corners at crank and cams...it's at the inner top right corner..just as the pic shows.

It may be harder to get to all the bolts to remove the cover than it would be to get at the chts as it is.
