High Idle

So a couple of weekends ago, I removed and cleaned my throtle body. I used plenty of throtle body cleaner. I also had to buy a new gasket--no biggie; it was only like $3.00.

My major gain is that my car no longer idles in the 1500 rpm range. Before I cleaned the throtle body, my car would sometimes idle very high. I would have to shut it off and then restarted. Since I cleaned it, I have not have this problem reoccur. The car always idels around the 750 rpm range.

Hope this info. helps others.
