JWT ECU $$...is this right?!

Real quick, a visit to Cattman website leads me to understand that the JWT ECU is $500+, with a core charge of $500. So I have to lay out a grand before I get my ECU. Someone please verify this.

Yeah but it's for a VE, isn't it? Don't you have a VG, male??

I do have a VG. $300 sounds a little more reasonable. Hey Jared/edgeproductions, can you verify THIS price? Is that just one you happen to have or is this like a stocked item you sell at a good price. If you can get these ECU's at that price, you'll take a significant amount of traffic away from Cattman and JWT! I'm assuming this is a one time deal on one ECU.

His car is a VE and it's totalled so he's selling some parts from it. Like I said, though, his car is a VE and you have a VG...

yes you shell out a grand but you get half back when you send them your old ECU. it's pretty reasonable and the only way you'll get one cheaper is if you find someone selling one....

If you want a JWT ECU without any downtime goto a junkyard and get a spare ECU. They run for $75-150.
