Drove off a curb

Hey all, just want to get some opinions/advice. I was driving around last night and I guess I wasn't paying attention and accidentally drove up part of a median in a parking lot. I drove the passenger side up and off the curb at about 10mph and heard a loud thump sound as I came back down onto the street. I pulled into a parking space and looked and did not see anything wrong. When I drove it, it seemed fine. My car is a stock 93 SE. Is there anything I should be worried about? I'm pretty sure I'm just being paranoid. Thanks

I had something similar to that happen to my Max twice Once recently to me (ironically on the same side as yours) and once when it was my dad's (his happened on the driver's side). My dad checked it out with his mechanic and found nothing wrong. Mine wasn't as bad as when it happened to my dad, so I just did a "road test" and just looked around the bottom of the car and at the tires and rims to see if there was any damage. You might just want to check and see if the alignment seems off or if there is any damage to the bottom of it. If you're really freaked out, then maybe taking it to a mechanic would be wise. Good luck!

try driving ya car into 2 curbs at 60 mph....i literally crushed the driver side control arm...but that was about it...10 mph over the curb..you should be aight....its compeletly stock so you probably need new struts (if you don't have em already)...that reminds me, i blowed my struts on the curb incident i assume since i'm taking/felling all kind of bumps in the road..something else new needed!!!

Sounds to me like you smacked the muffler on the curb on your way down. It probably just flexed upward so you didnt do damage.

could be the suspension bottoming out, could have been part of the body/frame hitting the curb, could have been the engine crossmember whacking the ground.. could have been the muffler hitting the curb, who knows...

basically, make sure there's nothing leaking from the engine or the gas tank and consider yourself lucky you didn't break anything.
