flywheel swap
flywheel swap
All im wondering is if a VE flywheel will fit on a VG im pretty sure they will but i dont want to try untill im 100% sure that it will. I can get one for free and mine is striping. and plus im doing a clutch next week so it will be pretty easy to do.

I would guess they are different since when you have to order it you must specify wether it's for the VE or VG. I found my info in searching on the Custommaxima and Stillen site...hope this helps. But I think that, YES, they're are different and cannot be swapped.

No, and no..
VG flywheels have 6 bolts in them. VE has 8.
the Z flywheel is also different.. don't remember if it has 6 or 8 bolts on it, but they're different diameters and thicknesses and such. could/will cause clearance problems when installing clutch + tranny.
just stick with the OE one or an aftermarket replacement for YOUR engine.
