Cold Axles = Strange Noise

yeah, whenever i go out of my driveway in the mornings headin to school, i roll over the "bump" at the very tip of the driveway. i hear this sound that's like a door creeking. but in a lower tone. in the afternoon when it's like 50-60 degrees...i dont hear it. does anyone have the same problem, know if it's bad, or know how to fix it?

I think its just the springs or struts compressing and I don't think its a problem. It's definitely not the axles though.

Yup. I got that too. My 91 SE has been doing it for like 2 years now. Sounds bad sometimes... real crunchy sound.

If I'm going to replace the springs (does this sound mean they're going???), should I also do the struts at the same time?

I can validate that it's the springs because I have relatively new struts and it still does it....
