There is a vacuum gauge mentioned in Chilton's to diagnose engine problems.

Is it really so helpful as described there? Is it easy to use?
Where can I get it? I tried to search for it at the local automotive store's website (Canadian Tire) but got nothing.

 

I'm not sure which stores you have in Canada so you might wanna check, Jegs.com , summitracing.com or jcwhitney.com I've seen vaccum gauges in their catalogs

I'm just thinking may be there is some other calling for these gauges, and that's why I can't find them in local stores...

 

if you can't find it on there let me know...a lot of times its easier to find things like these in the paper catalogs (I have the paper catalogs of all 3 of these sites)
