you should search, VE's are capable of 145+ they have ALOT of top end.

 

me and my firend had my 1990 doing 126-127 cant tell though speedometer stops at 125

I have done nothing of the sort. You mean to tell me that you guys go over the speed limit? I've never actually topped out my car to my surprise, never really felt the urge.

I've got my VE up past 130 many times and a few with 3 passengers, but I've buried the needle past 145 mph. I would do it with the stock set up though. 140 on the stock set up is too scary

Oh, in a car? I haven't gone higher than 120. I see absolutely no reason to do so, because it is dangerous and very stupid. A slight miscalculation and you and your passengers are fresh roadkill. Not worth the risk at all to me. Plus, if you get ticketed, say bye-bye to your license.

that's the thing, you fly planes, we don't. Also it's not stupid when it's done in the proper place, like an empty highway out in around 2 or 3 in the morning. You only put yourself at risk and no one else. I never speed around New York City because that would be dangerous.

hey TOP-END nice looking Maxima. Since I saw your car I am determined in getting the Stillen kit, once the winter is over and they stop throwing salt in New York due to the possible snow storms. Can't wait to get the kit.

 

i think stillen is the best looking kit out there for us 3rd geners

boost????? I ain't going that way since I first don't have the money for it and secondly I want my max to last a long time, since I still plan on keeping it after I graduate but I plan on buying like an Rx-7 or Supra if I can.

that's nice, I encourage you in your journey of boost. For me it's too much money and I plan on getting a car that comes equipped with turbo's so I can upgrade and not have to do many modifications. After college I will be looking for either Mazda Rx-7 R1 Edition, Supra TT or a 300zx TT.

300zx TT is nice but damn, by that time it'll be a little hard to find one in good conditions, that's why I like the RX, my brother own's an Rx-7 and I love that car, he owns the 2nd gen but I'll be looking for a 3rd gen

I was also considering the supra since I am 6'2" and need room also.

 

well the VG speedo goes a little past 125 then stops moving but the car still revs very slowly before redline.. so id say about 135

i havent done that in a long time and i dont plan on doing it ever again, but i dont plan on a lot of things
