What could be the problem

My oil seems to be burning up...or eating itself up some how. Car runs very well..Only problem is an exhaust leak. Other than that it runs ver good.I always give it an oil change on time and bring it to the dealer for that. What could be the problem.. Could it be the coldnest.. or jus oil is being eaten up.This is the problem, Ill have no light on until i push hard on the brakes like going to a stop light and then the light flickers on and off...las time it did that it needed oil but I jus added 3 quarts. It shouldnt need more unless there is a problem...I see no oil leaking under the car either....Help guys... Ive been searching too.

If you change your oil correctly and often and have to add 3 qts between changes, I would have to say there is a large problem with your engine.........Take it to a mechanic!

You have got to have an oil leak somewhere to be adding 3 quarts to it. I just dont know where you could have it. But its gotta be there!
