I was just checking out my car today, you know looking at vacuum lines, checking connections. I cleaned the throttle body and also pulled and checked the PCV valve. Now my car sounds like its chuging away like a diesel. ANy ideas? Also my engine is a VG.

 

Does the inactivity on this thread mean that no one can help me? Is my problem so out there that no one can even venture a guess? Come on man, i have seen more posts regarding more complex stuff on the .org

 

have you tried checking your oxygen sensor?

 

Did you remember to plug the connector back into the air flow meter when you but back your air intake?

 

yeah i plugged everything back in. Also made sure everything was aligned because i noticed that the MAF has a O-ring. (Incase i forgot to say i also pulled the MAF sensor to look at it. I dont know why i looked at it i was just checking things out.) Why would i need to check the O2 sensor? it wasnt bothering anything before.

 

Nevermind. Apparently my already bad injector wires was messing up. I just jiggled it and the roughness went away. But that brings up another question. Where can i get injector wires w/o buying the whole harness? I am fully capable of just splicing in new ones. Does anyone know where i can get them?
