Hi,
I have manifold leakage, ABS problems which lights-up the Anti-lock indicator on the dashboard as well as other minor problems. We do not have a certified Nissan workshop and no one knows exactly how to help.
I am looking for repair manual to enable us determine how best to handle the problems above.

Nissan sells their factory service manual for about US $75 new, of you can find them on ebay for quite a bit less.

If you'll describe the problems in a little more detail, I'm sure some of us can help with a few of the issues also.

1. It is the [inner] exhaust manifold that is leaking. My major problem is that the mechanic thinks it is as a result of broken bolts and insists that the engine of the car has to be brought down before the bolt and gaskets are replaced. I do not agree and that is mainly why I need a repair manual which ofcourse will have instructions on replacement of manifold gasket etc.
2. Regarding the ABS, The Anti-lock display on the dashboard comes on at all times. From the Owners manual, it is said to reflect a problem with the ABS
I am in the process of contacting friends in Europe or USA for the purchase and shipment of the manual through Ebay. If I could get specific pages concerning the process of replacing manifold gaskets as well as solving problems with the Anti-lock display, I will be pleased.

I was about to order an FSM today, but I wanted to ask this question first. What types of things are covered in the FSM? Is it only mechanical parts for the tranny and engine and such, or does it also include diagrams for removing or replacing exterior sheet metal, quarter panels, fenders, etc.?
