Speedometer

Sup everyone, Im new here. I just wanted to know where the speedometer sensor is for the 3rd gen max. My speedometer stops working at times, so I think its the speedometer, can anyone help me out?

speed sensor


I have the same problem too. I got it changed but it still didn't work. You might want to check and see if it's the sensor that needs to be changed. Sometimes, it's the electrical wire that may be causing the problem.

The speed sensor is common to failure on our cars. on the VG (sohc) engines, the speed sensor is located near the oil filter.
on the VE (dohc) engines, I'm not sure, but it's on the tranny somewhere.. I would assume that it's near the same place as on the Vg engine.
