HELP noise from my motor !

HELP noise from my motor !

someone told me that this is the vtc....how can i troubleshoot this......can i fix this myself.....i was a mechanic for about 5 years i have a good knowledge of how things work.....

What kind of noise and from where do you think its comming from I mean what part of your engine. You got to get into details if you want answers. And as far as it being a vtc check the searches there may be something there to help u out

comes from the top of the motor like under the valve cover...its LOUD really loud then get intermittant then quieter then goes away as the operating temprature reaches normal.
