KYB struts and ABS???

Both my front stock struts are gone...infact the car looks like its got a lowered front suspension ...infact the top of the wheels is inside the fender!

I am looking at KYB GR2s as a replacement but i am not sure if they will fit on a car with ABS...i think the struts need an extra bracket for the ABS attachment.

Does ANYBODY know if the KYBs have the ABS attachment bracket or if they will fit a car with ABS? search really didnt help.

Yes they should fit and work. I have ABS and KYB GR2 struts and they work fine with no problems or modifying. So yes they will work for you!

that maxima of yours looks pretty good!
So they should work then. What is your opinion about the KYB GR2s...how long do they usually last?

Changing the struts alone will not restore your cars ride height. The springs are what determine ride height. Sounds like its your springs you need to replace, but it would be an ideal time to replace the struts while there off.

I would just do a search in one of those Nissan parts sites in the links section of the org. If your gonna stay stock height then stock Nissan springs are what your gonna need.

if you're looking for stock springs, try the for sale forum
I've seen some there and I'm sure if you posted something, you could probably find someone with stock springs that has upgraded to something else

I personaly would stay away from used springs...especially on these 3rd gens that have around 100k miles on them. But, yes, it would be cheaper.
