89 Se Auto vs 91 mr2 non turbo

just wanna know what the outcome will be.
any ideas. talking about drag racing.

the mr2 will definately win if its manual... perhaps a bit closer if its automatic

Yeah, MR2 will win if it's stick. Don't forget it's RWD. But, if it was turbo, PEACE OUT!.

130 - 135 HP
140 - 145 TQ

AUTO: Close race
5 spd: MR2 wins

DOHC I4 2.0 Turbo
200 HP
200 TQ

MAXIMA, Non turbo MR2's are gutless the turbos arn't much better unless there modded to ****. MR2 if raining, race it and find out.

I have ****ed heaps of them.

Why would the MR2 win if its raining?

the mr2 would win anyway, maximas are slower.

the mr2 would have an advantage in the rain becuase being rwd it would have more traction than the fwd maxima.

Back in a 3rd Gen.

I had a 89 MR2 (I think thats the same body as the 91) and it was an auto. DOG SLOW but very consistant for bracket racing. I made it to the final 4 in street one night. It has been a long time since I drove it but I think even an auto max VG will beat it. I have not driven a 5 speed MR2 though.

89 MR2 had a small boxy shape. 91 is different.
